Covert Smoke Detector DVR with540TVL SL Camera SDRDVR35-HSL (DC12V power supply)

There are no instructions provided with this cam. There are 2 on-off buttons to deal with plus a remote to turn it on and off and that makes it extremely confusing. I've tried every combination of on and off and I can't get this thing to work. I pulled out the SD chip and tried to read any recordings I might have made on my laptop and it's always blank!

I have contacted the seller for help but have not received any response. Don't waste your money!!

This is a nice product that does as advertised. The documentation is lacking but fairly straightforward. Overall I'd consider buying this product again.
