This is the second time I bought this dv recorder and same disappointment. the first time, the internal batter couldn't hold a charge beyond 5 minutes. I ordered another one,thinking that maybe the first was a fluke. The second one doesn't hold a charge either. I couldn't even get it to record once. At least the first one, I was able to use once. What a waste.

i had ordered the same recorder before and then i lost it on the beach but i did purchase the other one for $100 and this is pretty much the same exact one actually would be better cuz it has time and date on it but i cant figure out how to put it on there. But i would def rate it good and be a good gift or spy cam, or just to have it like me in case something comes up and i need it for future to save my butt. The shipping did take a little longer than i expected but was still good
