true 1080p video with bells and whistles to make it usable. The sound is good (I never use it because it is part of the theater experience) the video and adjustment features terrific. I haven't found a problem with it yet.Read Best Reviews of Sony Bravia XBR KDL-70XBR7 70-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV Here
First off, if you're just looking for a beautiful 70" 1080p TV, you can go with virtually any other brand, get full 480Hz 3D, and only spend $2500-$4500. Did I mention that this TV doesn't even have LED backlighting? All of those cheaper sets will, which provides a clearer picture and a 5-10x longer lifetime. Oh, and this one's not 3D, either.Secondly, if you ARE anxious to spend in the area of $20,000 to $30,000 for a TV, just wait 2 months for 4160p (4k) TVs to come out. 4k TVs are up to stadium sized (like a Jumbo-tron, up to 420"; but also room-size, 34"+) The picture is marvelous, and they provide 3D without 3D-glasses. (Once again, no 3D at all on this one).

Ordered this puppy for my wall. Delivered and wrapped in about 100 yards of cardboard and weight a ton. First attempt to mount it resulted in structural damage to my wall. Had to reenforce my foundation and add in some joists to support the TV. After construction completed, my family sat down to an impressive view of yards and yards of a blank screen. All we saw was a billion black pixels. "Ship it back and will send another" Big A said. Easier said than done, I had to scourge around in a dozen dumpsters to get enough cardboard to make a box big enough (I foolishly turned the original box into a kids playhouse/tank) and used 10 rolls of duct tape to package this monstrosity. Next hurdle was trying to pack this roughly 10 foot by 5 foot box into my Kia Rio sports car. Finally had to just duct tape it to the roof. We looked like a Schweizer 1-26 as we headed off to the UPS drop off station. I could tell that the UPS people were impressed with my box making skills. Now anxiously awaiting the second unit to arrive, and shipping was only half price! Life is good.I bought this TV several months before I had my house forclosed. The image is excellent. The dimension is fantastic. The weight of this TV is amaizing considering it is of a jumbo size. The only drawback (temporary) is that because its size, its hard to fit in my mobile home. I recomend this TV.
