Aurum Pro Series Toslink Cable - Digital Optical Audio Cable - 25 Feet

I was initially unsure if a 30 foot cable would accurately reproduce the sound with no lag. I read that the maximum recommended length was 20 or 25 feet.

I purchased this to run from the HD audio output on my computer's motherboard to my Samsung HW-E450 soundbar (http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-HW-E450-Wireless-AirTrack-Sound/dp/B0076U29LK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1352977246&sr=8-1&keywords=samsung+450+soundbar) which I also recommend and give 5 stars.

My computer is not that far from the TV, but for proper cable routing and slack I needed the full 30 feet. I also have a 30 foot HDMI cable running from my Nvidia GTX-570 to my 52" Sanyo LCD. My TV doesn't have optical audio out, so I wanted to use my mobo's sound for the best reproduction on this awesome soundbar.

I have no complaints. The cable was shipped the next morning after ordering and came well packaged in a box. The cord itself is definitely professional braided quality. You could easily step on this cord or probably even drive over it with a car and it's not going to break. The connectors are strong and snapped very securely in to the optical audio ports on both my mobo and my soundbar.

I notice no lag whatsoever between the audo and video. They are synced perfectly and I get awesomely reproduced audio flowing out of my soundbar.

I am not a professional audiophile or videophile by any means, but I definitely like to enjoy a good movie and this helps.
