I have this kit being used to cool off my Marantz SR6003 and two addtional fans cooling my Xbox and PS3 when turned on. Very quiet fans but move a lot of air out of my cabinet.

I got this fan kit to cool my Denon HDMI Receiver. Considering that Receivers and Power Amps are often only passively cooled via large heatsinks, having some low profile fans to help the convection cooling process is certainly not a bad idea.

Build Quality: Each fan is enclosed in a plastic blower enclosure. The exhaust is directed through the side vents of the fan, not through the back. They are meant to be placed on top of an AV component with top vents. Each fan comes with 4 optional rubber feet to reduce vibrations between the component and the fan. With the exception of the actual power supply, all cables are braided/sleeved in a black techflex. The manual control has a nice resistance to it and feels solid.

Cooling: Very flexible with the manual speed control. Even at the slowest RPMs, the airflow is still enough to reduce temperatures by a lot (considering most Receivers and Amps are passively cooled). The fans can push plenty of air at the expense of more noise.

Tip: This might be obvious, but plug in the power supply on your Receiver / Amps Switched Outlet. This way the fan will automatically kick in whenever your Receiver or Amp is on. By doing this you also save an outlet on your main power strip. I'd recommend using double sided tape or cable ties to secure the manual fan control

I am using these fans to cool a new Yamaha AV receiver. When the receiver was on top of the cabinet it ran warm and I was concerned about placing it inside the entertainment cabinet with a secondary receiver stacked on top. I inserted two of these fans between the two receivers in the cabinet and the new receiver is barely warm to the touch after several hours of use. I have the speed turned down to the point where I cannot hear the fans at all. Its nice that the fans lie flat and pull the hot air up out of the equipment and push it out the rear. Recommended.

Really great product. It is designed and made very well and works very well and wisper quiet for how much air is moved by these fans. It fits perfect on my new Halo 4 Collectors Edition Slim console. I didn't want to use one of the attachable nyko ones or something that would draw power from the console itself. This fits right over the exaust vent on top of the console and you still have one more to put on your stereo or other console. Has a little twist knob that controls speed and on/off switch. Great job Cooler guys, definitely will order more products from them!

Good product that needs a little improvement but not so much that you should not get it. The connections from the AC to the fans are a bit weak in staying together. For the price these are great fans and the adjustable speed is perfect. Installation is a bit tricky so get creative and find the right screw to mount with. I added mine to the customer build entertainment center on the underside of the shelves. They have been installed for about 4 months with no issues and very quite.

Good product for the price if you have a place to hide them. I would buy them again.
