And it's been about 9 months. Granted, we typically use it only on longer road trips, but it didn't let my son down during several 6-hour drives.

I bought this one refurbished to replace the main screen from my dual screen Philips DVD player for the car. It works great and outputs the Audio/Video perfectly to my second screen which still works. It is easy to use and the quality seems much better than the other one I had bought. The onboard controls are great and the remote seems nice(although I see no point in having it). I haven't used the included headrest mount yet, but I did use the strap that I pulled off the main screen of my now defunct unit. It worked just fine and supported this unit perfectly.

Bought this player after returning a Sylvania because that battery would not charge or hold a charge. As soon as this player was removed from the packaging, the quality seemed much better than that of the returned player. The sound and picture are great and the back rest mount is much better also. So after 2 weeks of great service, my granddaughter is happy, which makes me happy!

I would recommend this player.

I ordered this when my other one broke. It works well and I have no complaints at this point. We just use it for the kids in the car on trips, or to keep my younger son occupied when my daughter is taking a class and we have to wait for her.
