I just received 2 of these in the mail from Amazon. The other reviewer is correct. They are still labeled as (1); however they are also labeled as Pro-Elite Plus 80mb/s.These cards are supposed to be magnetic, water, cold, heat, and shock resistant. Only time will tell about those claims.
These cards are extremely fast. I put one in my new Canon T4i and took a few shots with no problem on RAW. Then I took a sequence of about a dozen in RAW. By the time I looked down the camera had finished writing to the card.
So, I then took 40 pictures in RAW just as fast as I could push the button. There was no lag time. There was no hesitation. The Canon T4i took about 1 1/2 seconds to finish writing all 40 to the card. I did not feel I needed to test more than this number of pictures as I will never need anywhere near 40 pictures in one burst.
The best part was I did not have to wait for the camera to catch up! There was no lag time!
Your results may vary somewhat as the brightness, contrast, and other conditions affect the size of the RAW file. I get them from 4.5MB up to 18MB on my Canon T4i set to RAW depending upon the subject and lighting conditions. The larger the file the longer the write time of course.
I shoot wildlife pictures as a hobby. Last year I had to wait several times on my 2Ti to catch up using a 16GB 20mb/s class 10 SDHC card. I don't think I will have that problem with this card.
I hope that this will allow me to catch more action shots! They are well worth the extra money for action series. I would recommend the Pro-Elite at 35mb/s for slower action.
I would recommend the Professional 20mb/s for portraits and landscape. Of course, all of these are Class 10.
I gave away or use my Class 4 SDHC cars in digital frames or for storing data. This is not a UHS-2 memory card. The below details are from pny's website.
It even says UHS-1 when you look at the pictures of the item.
Once I run speed tests on the card, I will update this comment.8GB Pro-Elite Plus Series Hi-Speed SDHC Class 10
