Very pleased with this product. I have been searching for a dvd player that was durable, nice looking, and well priced. Finally, I found this one, and I highly recommend it. The battery life is amazing and lasts a really long time, and it has a swivel screen which is very sturdy. The modern features make it easy to use for all ages. It looks sleek, modern and really nice. Its really lightweight and comes with a nice nylon bag which makes it extremely convenient for on-the-go. All together, I am very picky when it comes to my electronics, and in comparison to other companies and other editions, I am really impressed by the SDVD7030, especially at this bargain price. i bought it for my 3 yr old daughters birthday and ive had it for 2 weeks she spends time on it at least 2 times a week and she enjoys wathing her tinker bell movies on it,i think it was the best purchase ive made on amazon. the swivel is great for the kids soo they dont have to touch the bottons and i loved how affordable it was. the battery last 4 hours untill it needs charge again and its just very enjoyable for kids when they need there quiet time.

Was so excited to get this DVD player in the mail for my 2 year old son, only to have it not function properly on day 2. For some reason the screen went from a nice bright color to faded green. I thought maybe the battery was going low, so plugged it in and still didn't work. I then let it charge fully and it worked at first, but then after a few seconds back to the faded green screen. Don't be fooled by the 4 hours either, it's really only about 2.5 maybe 3. It says on the box only 4 hours if wearing head phones, which my son hates. So bummed, sent it back. Now I am back on the search for another one.

I purchased this DVD player to use in the car. I liked the flexibility of the swivel screen, since it can be folded flat and attached to the back of a headrest.

The DVD player worked well and included a car charger, AC adapter, headphones, remote, and a short A/V cable. However, they included a car bag that was designed for laptop-style players. If I used the included car bag, the base of the player would project outward from the headrest. The product manual shows a tablet-style car bag, which would be more appropriate for this DVD player.

I called the manufacturer for a replacement car bag, and they told me to contact the seller. Amazon requests that you return products with missing components, so that's what I'm doing.

Otherwise, the player was what I had expected. The picture quality was acceptable, and the speakers worked well.
