Just ordered this tuner from Amazon, it was shipped from the seller. Fast shipping. Hooking it up was straight forward. It found all the clear QAM channels from my cable provider (COMCAST).

Initially I turned audio volume on the tuner to 100% from factory default 70%. A few hours later after watching NFL wild card playoff games, the audio became jittery. I found the unit was red hot!

After setting audio volume to factory default 70% and keeping the unit well ventilated, it just works fine.

Bought this ChannelMaster to plug in to my HDTV when its built-in tuner failed. Performance has been very good, as advertised. Tuner suddenly stopped powering up after 15 months of use.

This product did not work properly when connected to my brand new Yamaha receiver. The video would come through ok, but the audio would pop in and out every few seconds. I tried to get support from customer service, but it was very slow. They only wanted to communicate through email. I called in and was told I would have to wait for someone more qualified to call me back. I called in again after the emails, was on hold for 10 minutes and then was shoved into a voicemail box telling me that I would have to wait for someone to call me back. Very disappointing. Will never buy a Channel Master product again due to poor customer service/support. The product did work ok when plugged directly into my Samsung television, but not my Yamaha receiver.

Got this for my projector and has performed well so far. My minor complaint is it took 2 times to scan correct QAM channels but seems to have all available on my system now. Works great for what I need it for. Have it hooked up to my projector via component cable for HD cable channels.
