My son and I purchased this product for one purpose to film a rocket's-eye perspective video using an Estes model rocket. I've made 3 such videos so far (along with other uses, like my son made a mountain bike video very cool) and this bulletproof little camera survived them all unscathed even a catastrophic parachute failure at 800 feet. There's always the possibility you could get a defective unit, but for the price I definitely recommend this.

Beware, this product is very poor quality. The picture is extremely grainy. It is really a toy and not for any serious videos or pictures.

Thanks to Amazon.com for coming thru with their Amazing customer service they sent us a 8MB SD card. But then we get the card, try the camera and the video quality is so bad so low res. got to be 640x480, but I'm thinking it might be lower! I have friends with these "808" style cameras and the rest of them are better like 720 and even 1080 res. but this one is bad. low res & low frame rate choppy.

For twenty-two dollars I got exactly what I needed. I've recorded video just five times so far and it works great. The English and specs of the ad aren't super clear but I did indeed receive the camera, a USB cable, an 8 gig micro sd card and even a memory card reader that I haven't needed yet. I found all the info I needed on youtube, but I'll try and help you out here. If yours is like mine the led light is yellow and there are four buttons. The two in the rear are fake, the two in front work as follows. From off status push and briefly hold the rear button until light comes on. The light is solid tho mine flickers once after start up a sign of readiness I think. Once on click the front button for a photo, the light flickers off and then back on. For video click and hold the front button until the light flashes three times and then goes off, you are now recording video. Click the front button again, light comes back and recording stops. Hold rear button to power off. Be careful, look and feel your way when installing memory card. The metal prongs face up. Also if you charge off a computer without memory card installed it may say you need to format the drive, don't do that. With card in plug and play was perfect on windows 7 pc. View folder find files, couldn't be easier. Enjoy
