I have a large vinyl collection and needed something to clean my LP's. This is the same product that was in my original disc washer kit when I bought it 20 years ago. It works great.

I recently returned to vinyl. I had my cleaner but needed some liquid. I had used D4 in the past and it worked great then and it works great now. I don't know what else is out there but I'm sticking with what I know is quality.

I read in a previous review that the new RCA D4 was nothing more than alchohol, but decided to buy it anyway. Well after receiving it, I have to agree. It seems to be nothing like what I had before, you know as soon as you open the cap and the strong smell of alchohol. I figure it is better than embedding the dust into the record so I am using it. The alternatives are much more expensive and time consuming.

As for buying it through Amazon and their vendor, Square Deal Recordings, the experience was excellent. Great price and fast shipping. While I had to pay a shipping charge that was about the same as the cost of the product, it was still reasonable overall and probably cheaper than driving to the store.

This is only record cleaner I've ever needed. Gets the job done and stores away nicely in a discwasher brush.
