Received ahead of scheduled delivery date. I set the time/date and did a few recordings and then connected to my computer and viewed the recording i can say for such an inexpensive item the picture and sound was very good. I have had spy glasses and mini cam recorders and HD video recorders and this mini DV DVR is impressive.Updated 4/7/2013. Added video of inside kitchen.
