Tivo C00221 Replacement Remote

After the remote that came with our TiVo HD got dropped on the floor one too many times and REALLY exploded, we decided it was time for a new one.

This remote is a tiny bit different than the one that came with our TiVo, but just fine. Worked instantly after being programmed, and no lag or delay in communication with the TV/TiVo.

One thing I would recommend doing BEFORE you receive your new TiVo remote is to use your old one to look up the codes for your TV. Just go "Messages and Settings" in the main TiVo menu, followed by "Settings," and then "Remote Control." You'll find all the codes you need there.

We're going to order another onethey are inexpensive and it'll be nice not to have to toss it around the room anymore.

I love this shiny new TIVO remote control. Contrary to what another reviewer said, I did need to go into the TIVO settings and complete a very short process so everything--such as volume and channel changing--would work.
