I needed one of these in a hurry and had a heck of a time finding one, but I found them at Build A Bear for $8 plus tax. (Better than paying shipping! :)Oh and they work really well. Very easy, and fun! About the size and thickness of a double-stuffed Oreo.
Hope that's news someone can use!I used these to stick inside of stuffed animals for my two grandsons who were moving across the country. I sang a verse of their favorite songs on them and then cut a small hole in the back seam of a stuffed animal to insert it. They loved them and the one even made my 9 month old grandson stop crying on the trip.I ordered this for a friend who is legally blind to help him find stuff in his refrigerator. He and I both are very pleased. It's easy to use.Arrived quickly. Worked great, easy to use, plenty loud...attached it to the back of a large picture frame for 100yr old grandma since I couldn't find a talking picture frame that held an 8 x 10. A very inexpensive way to spice up a picture or whatever! This is almost exactly the product they use at Build-A-Bear which is just what I needed. I had ordered my son a Nemo plush for Christmas and wanted to record his dad's voice, who is deployed, onto it and put it in the Nemo doll so he could hear him when he hugs it. It was super easy to use and even though the message I recorded was playback from my phone (my husband had sent me a voicemail recording) it sounded just as good as when you do a recording in the store at Build-A-Bear. You just have to keep in mind that when you put it in the "Lock" position you HAVE to tape it place with scotch tape or something stronger because it is super easy for it slip out of the "Lock" position and you don't want your message erased. It's a great product though and I was so excited to find it (also cheaper than buying one from B-A-B...)
