I bought this as a tester, because it seemed too good to be true, at the price. In fact it is the bargain of the year and I have since bought a Samurai in order to "revive" a Canon XL H1 which I am now using in Pro Res mode. I primarily purchased the Ninja for use with my Nikon D4 to overcome the time limitation but have used it with a number of Cameras including an old Sony 3 chip which has an HDMI out. Terrifically versatile, great value and very well built. The Ninja is a great product if you have a camera that allows you to remove the display from the screen, allowing you to record a clean signal to a hard drive. The work flow is great allowing you to take a file and bring it into your editor of choice. It comes with everything but a camera mount, which only cost about $10.00 (US dollars). I would recommend this product to anyone.
