The video may be 1080p in pixel count, but it is more like 480p (standard DVD or old style TV), it is soft focused and lacking in detail. Certainly nowhere near Blu-ray quality. The camera has a hard time coping with bright backlighting, and is a tad slow with the autofocus. There is a 10x digital zoom, but this is all but unusable as it degrades the video quality even further. At 10x there is quite a lot of pixel noise. There is no image stabilization so using the tripod is also a must, I'd say. However, for the kids or for casual holiday videos and snaps, it's OK. Videophiles should look elsewhere. I was really impressed with the amount of accessories included: TWO cases, a sleeve type and a hard clam shell case (pink lining), mini-tripod (silver) and cleaning cloth (pink), rope strap (black) and A/V cable and mini-USB cable. Note it won't work until you put in an SDHC card, there's no internal memory, but you can get a class 10 32 gig card for $40. A 2 minute video was about 150,000 KB so a 32 GB card should hold roughly 7.6 hours of continuous video. I personally really like the styling. The projector screen size is functional up to about 2 feet wide, after that it's really washed out looking, you'll want a completely dark room and a white wall, but it works. I paid $150 for mine, I'm going to buy a couple more for my kid's birthdays. Overall, for the price it's a very good value.VERY CONVINIENCE AND VERY PRACTICAL. IT ONLY HAS A DISADVANTAGE: THE SCREEW IS SMALL, DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT HAS INCLUDED THE BOTTOMS WHEN YOU ARE RECORDING(, PLAY, STOP, ....)Buy Benq DV S11 PICO Projector / HD Video Camcorder / 5.0 MP Digital Camera Now
I opened the box and didn't like the quality of it. In all honesty, I never used it (returned it). It was advertised to do a lot of different things but I was skeptical.Read Best Reviews of Benq DV S11 PICO Projector / HD Video Camcorder / 5.0 MP Digital Camera Here
