I was using this to run from a Sound Blaster X-Fi Pro sound card into an older JVC 5.1 surround DVD player thing.
Sadly, my receiver could not handle the 5.1 signal from my sound card.
But, the cable worked just as stated. The audio was crisp and delay-free.
The cable snaked around a chair, some shelving, and was even coiled up a little between the card and the reviver, but the red light shined bright all the way through.
The cable its self seems like it may be a lower quality, the plastic sheathing seems quite cheap. The ends appear to be decent quality, the outside is a little soft but the inside is solid. This cable gets the job done. It is a basic no-frills TosLink cable at an outstanding price. The shielding is adequate; don't expect a think cable as you would find from Monster Cables.

Ordered cable to save some money. When looking at the picture i was misled into thinking the gauge of the cable was decent. This cable is so thin that it took great care un-packaging to make sure i didn't not break the filament. Would not by this exact product again.Read Best Reviews of eForCity Digital Optical Audio TosLink Cable - Molded - 25ft Here
