Fits my DR 40 like the proverbial glove without covering up any controls or other important functions. Wind noise.... what wind noise. Works great! And was shipped quickly too....
This windscreen works well in light to moderate wind. It is a big improvement over a standard foam windscreen. It does not seem to reduce the sound quality. High frequencies seem to pass through it well. My only complaint is that it's a very tight fit for a Tascam DR-100MKII. It's difficult to get on. (I can't comment on other recorders.) Otherwise it's a good value.

This is a great addition to my Zoom H4n. The windscreen that comes with the H4n works well for indoor areas, but it really falls flat when you transition to outdoor shoots. The instructions on the Mic-Muff says to place this over the existing windscreen, but I could not get it to fit without fear of tearing the fabric/elastic. I decided to use just the Mic-Muff for outdoors and it works just fine.
Pros: Does exactly what it should do, reduce the noise of wind.
It is small and compact, can fit in small compartments for storage/travel.
Fits on many types of sound recorders.
Cons: I didn't agree with what the instructions said, but that may be user error, and I won't fault the product for it.
