This company is out of business, and without them, none of the remote viewing features will work. They left a lot of people high and dry. It's not bad equipment, but don't get stuck with it.

The security system is actually easy to set up and the functionalty is prteey basic but getting remote access is terrible. Also the customer service number listed on Netrome's website does not work. You can also forget email service. As a basic system, you can get buy, bu if remote access is crotical to you, you can forget buying this product!

We bought this system at Sam's club because a friend had bought one at Sam's for around the same price. I liked his so I paid 1K for the system with 4 cameras. Unfortunately I his system was a totally different brand and I bought the tetragon by accident. (It was not until cams were installed that I realize my critical error) PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY A REAL SYSTEM! WE HAD TWO SEPARATE CASES OF VANDLISM AT OUR CHURCH AND COULD NOT GET EVIDENCE AGAINST CRIMINAL BECAUSE THE CAMERAS CYCLED ON AND OFF DURING CRIME. (IT WILL READ "PLEASE STAND BY" DURING RECORDING) The images are so low grade it is just a little bit better than nothing at all. We have just ordered a new system with 8 night vision cameras from a reputabale company. I have counted the $1,000 mistake as experience and have moved on. I think I will box entire system up and mail back to tetragon. You will be disappointed for sure.

I had an older security system which had the capability of eight cameras. it quit 'reading the cameras." I was told the Netrome company was "out of business" and couldn't get a replacement. It seems that no one works on security systems. I was contemplating purchasing a new system, when I discovered this one on Amazon and ordered it. However, while waiting for delivery, I took the older unit apart and blew all the dust out of it and disconnected and reconnected the interface cables connected to the cameras. That fixed the problem. I gave the new system (with four cameras) to my daughter.

If your not look for features like customer support, or viewing over the internet then this is good for you. Mine came without the power adapter I don't know about other people having this problem. Other than that it works like any other standard DVR system.
