At this time I am recording 11 cameras at the highest resolution 24/7 and can go back eleven days. When I fast forward even at 64X it goes straight through and can see everything, unlike others that will jump forward in time up to an hour, play through six minutes, then jump forward an hour again.There was a defective hard drive when I first got this one, however the tech support staff replaced it and it has been great since.The tech support also helped with setting this DVR up to go on line. They have been great too.
The only very minor thing that can still be done is during playback you have to use the mouse to select the audio for which camera you want to listen to, unlike live when you just hit the mute button to select.
Overall this is by far the best DVR I have had, and when I need another one I will buy this one again.
