Buy Toshiba BDX2300120 1080p Blu-Ray Disc Player - Black Now
First unit only played DVDs w/subtitles. Second unit (replacent) didn't work at all. Stay away from this product. I thought the first unit was a fluke hence exchanging for another unit-boy was I wrong.Read Best Reviews of Toshiba BDX2300120 1080p Blu-Ray Disc Player - Black Here
The product description boasts "Internet Streaming" although in order to do so you need to also purchase a wireless Lan Adapter (WLM-12NB1) at a cost of around $80 or more.I understand that cables may not be included with the various devices sold for your TV's, DVD players, Blue-ray players, etc. but to advertise that your product can stream various internet sites when the equipment required costs as much as the device you just purchased is utterly ridiculous.
I found the video quality of the Blue Ray movies to be great, but I think it is ludicrous that I have to pay $80 for the wireless aspect of this product. Had I realized the price of the adapter, I would have just bought different Blue Ray player, such as one of the Sony players with built in WIFI that cost around the SAME PRICE as this one!!!!
I have lost a lot of respect for Toshiba with this purchase.

Haven't owned it long enough to rate it on blu ray quality or product durability. But I am 100% disappointed in the fact that I am required to buy a separate WiFi adapter to stream video from Youtube/Hulu. For an extra $70!!?!?!?!?! Still a decent price for a Blu Ray player, but I feel scammed with these unnecessary added costs. And really, you had to make restricted to one model of an adapter made by you?? Disgusted!! I'm returning this piece of crap. Greedy bastards!!!!!!!!!!I would have given this a 5-star, but it is missing Wi-Fi. The price is right and the product needs some improvements. GUI flows is good, but menu speed is a little slow for my taste. This is a connected BD so I did not expect much in terms of contents compared to Smart BD (Samsung/LG).I only use Netflix and the speed was great. I have a 12Mbps internet connection at home and most of the movies are playing at HD quality and never gotten any disconnect or buffering issues.
This unit also has remote app that you can download via Google Play or iTunes. I don't use it since my TV has HDMI-CEC and I can control most of the functions from my TV remote (Play, Pause, Next, Skip, etc.). I haven't tried the DLNA features, but the USB features works great! Played all my MP3, MP4 and JPEG photos.
Overall, this unit is a spectacular value. If it has wireless built-in, I would have given it a 5-star.
Note: It is slow are loading non-BD Live movies. Takes about 30 seconds to load, but with BD-Live movies, it was fast. I am going to update to the latest firmware to see if that would help.
