So far, so good with this portable DVD player. I purchased this for my granddaughter for travel. We have had it for 4 months and not problems as of yet. The DVD's show clearly and the sound quality is good. For the price, it is a good buy.

This Pyle DVD player says it will play MP4 files but it will not, also the remote does not work unless you hold it right up to the unit practically touching the unit. The remote would not work without being practically touching the unit even after trying new batteries several times to make sure batteries were not bad.

It's a great looking portable DVD player with awesome features, clear picture, cool accessories. It came with remote control, car travel kit and wires to connect to your TV. Problem is it stopped working after 3 weeks. It kept displaying "No Disc" message when I tried to play DVD's that I had no problems with playing previously. I let it sit for a couple days without using it then tried again. It worked 1 day then I got the error message again. So I returned it. Perhaps this brand/model is not intended for daily use. I used it almost everyday but treated it with great care so I am only assuming it's for the occasional user.

Was a gift, and did not work well at all, very poorly made. Item was returned for full refund to Amazon.
