This video camera is perfect as a first camera for my daughter. She's been bugging me for one for over a year now. As she gets better with it, then we will consider upgrading our old video camera to a nice digital. But in the meantime, this camera is perfect. Picture isn't the best, but I didn't expect it to be for the price. She can also take still pictures and audio and use it as a webcam. Perfect for the budding artist that she is.
This camcorder is rugged, has many features for an inexpensive camera, and is easy to use. The audio recording is impressive as well. The thing that really matters though, is appalling! The video recording is terrible!! It is grainy and blurry. The picture goes white in too bright light and black in low light. In perfect conditions the picture still looks awful and it takes very long to adjust. I would definately NOT reccomend!!! The price seems great, but BEWARE!
