If you're ghost hunting or just in need of a great little camera made for the dark than this is the one you should seriously consider buying. It's video quality is exceptional. The fact that it's modified was the selling point. It's definitely modified and well thought out. Being able to use regular aaa batteries was the clincher. I highly recommend this camera to anyone researching the paranormal or plain old ghost hunting. O.K. so I stayed overnight at the Old South Pittsburg Hospital in TN. I'm so happy with this camera I had two come back and say more. It's worth every dollar and than some. Having the aaa batteries was a must for an active location as this was. The amount of evidence we captured was amazing. Seriously if anyone is considering a place, this was more active than Waverley Hills and Trans Alleghany put together. Yes I've done both and many more. Old South Pittsburg Hospital should be a Paranormal University and use these camera's for students.

I was very excited about this camera, but it seems to not work at all. I have used it on multiple occasions in different light and I never see any images other than what can be seen with the naked eye. I have had a freind come over with an infrared/fullspectrum camera from another company and we got multiple images while this camera got none at the same time. The DXG Camcorder performs well for the price. Video quality is very good, but as the Seller states, this camera is not for everyday recording! (Unless your everyday recording is in low light conditions.) And don't expect to find the words 'Night Vision' anywhere on the item, because as in the product description, 'professionally hacked' means this was a normal camcorder, until the Seller removed the IR Filter from behind the lens. In closing, the internal memory is useless for video. Expect to upgrade immediately with a memory card.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase with arrived quickly and securely packaged!
