The back up battery last no more than 3 minutes after the power shut off. It didn't even give me enough time to shut down the server that plugged into it. Don't expect this product will provide backup power for your computer!

Wow, was I surprised at the Qualitu of this unit. There are eight protected outlets, four having battery back-up as well. The display shows the electric current being treated and can be dimmed if you want.

Right after purchase, we had a thunder & Lightning storm. I was listening to my Stereo at the time when all power went out. I never knew it. My Wife came in and wanted to know what happened to the power? I then shut off the Amp. & CD Player. Wow the system never missed a beat. Power was out for five and one half hours. The Tripplite worked perfectly. Still showed almost a full battery left when the power came back on. It answered with a long loud beeeeep! when power came on too.

This POS was DOA out of the box. The LCD display would show zero volts when plugged in, and not pass through power. Returned, and bought a CyberPower.
