Great quality and a great price. Installed this cable through plastic tubing (innerduct) that I had installed in my walls during construction.

I needed to connect an optical cable, to a wall mounted television optical output, through a wall, down into a basement, then back up the floor to a stereo system. I needed an incredibly long, sturdy cable that could handle that type of abuse and still be big enough to allow the light to travel through the cable to the stereo and give off a crisp sound.

If your TV is a considerable distance from your stereo, then this is the cable for you. Its Sturdy, thick and fiber is thick enough to give a clear sound.

I can emphasize how thick it is. This will definitely be an eyesore if you plan to simply have it plugged in and be visible. Also, being as thick as it is means it isn't incredibly flexible, so that something to keep in mind.
