Bought this to see if replacing existing optical cable would fix intermittent audio from DVR to receiver, which it did! I picked this one for 3 reasons, 1st was quality of cable and plug connector, which is excellent, 2nd was price, and 3rd was shipping from within US allowed me to get it quickly.

It does what it supposed to do. Too bad that is something special anymore !!! I have only used them for 10 minutes, just to make sure everything worked.

These connectors are great. I've had them for over 6 months now and I've had no issues what so ever with them. Why spend up to 20 bucks or more for these at the big box store when you can get them here for a fraction of the price.

These cables also look and feel like professional grade. I replaced a broken monster connector with these that went bad after about 5 years and I can not tell the difference now from when I had my old cable.
