Polaroid PRDVDRLS25S Lightscribe DVD-R 25 pack is an excellent buy. 25 for 9.99 Come on, you can't beat that. The lowest I've seen a 25 pack of lightscribe DVD-R's is at least $15. I've paid more for Lightscribe cd-r's.

The Polaroid brand work just as well as any other brand at a fraction of the cost. I haven't had any issues with them. If you're looking for Lightscribe dvd-r's and to save some money, Get these. They don't dissappoint

Well it doesn't replace a true printed label however it does a pretty dang good job. I was fairly impressed however the original color of the DVD does not look very good. Also keep in mind the more contrast you can put into the picture that you want to print the better it will look. It doesn't pick up a lot of middle ground as far as light and dark variation. Does better than I thought it would however. I made a quick video review in hopes that it will help. I apologize that the focus is set and I move the camera a bit much however when you see the Polaroid label come into focus you know exactly how the DVD cover is looking in focus.

I know nothing about Lightscribe but I bought these disks based on the positive reviews and excellent price.

I have a brand new 3 week old PC. I put the disk in and my software came back with an error saying that it was not Lightscribe media. All the disks I tried resulted in the same error message. I then Googled "Lightscribe software" and found this page, . I downloaded and installed the latest Windows drivers and the disks were now recognized. Now I had just loaded my burners software 3 weeks ago and updated it to the latest but I still had to update the Lightscribe drivers to get things to work so if you are having troubles with these or any other Lightscribe disks I suggest that you go to this link and update your drivers.

Having said all that the disks perform fine. I've not used Lightscribe before so I cant compare and comment on the quality of the labeling but it looks fine to me.

So far I have used over forty of these with no issues. The Lightscribe label comes out great and every burned DVD comes out working. Overall it's a good buy for the price.
