Sony CFD-S500 Portable AM/FM/CD/Cassette Boombox

I like this boombox for its versatility, appearance, and ease of use. The sound quality is excellent. The features I use most often are the CD player with the sleep function. I compared other models and prices and am happy with my choice. For the price, I think it packs a lot of features and quality.

The sound is OK, the display is a bit small to display mp3 info. But the most challenging thing about this unit is to try to tune an FM station. I admit this is my daughter's boom box, and I didn't have the manual. BUT should you need the manual to tune an FM station? I have an advanced degree in CS, but it didn't help me with this product.
