Great product, but do be aware that you will need to save two parts from your old drive:1. The faceplate (bezel)so you can have it fit flush with your laptop. If you do not have the faceplate it is still okay,but it sits back in there a bit...
2. and most important the REAR MOUNT bracket from your old dvd drive in order to secure this part in your computer. Without that, it will just fall out. Nobody wants that!
As long as you have the parts it will be perfect for the Gateway NV5302u/ MS2258.
