Used this to record an interview in a loud cafe. The background noise-canceling feature worked like a champ. I haven't found a way to use the Dragon software to record directly into my PC, which would be nice for transcription purposes. I think Sony may have locked down that feature, or I just haven't figured it out yet. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this device.
