For the money you cant beat this price. I bought two of these to to update my dvr system. I have one up now and will have the other one up soon. I wish the audio was built into the camera but it isnt. it comes with a microphone. So if you are going to install with the microphone you will want to put a junction box up for all the connections. Remember the camera is weather proof but the connections are not. The video is this camera. I have this hooked to a Night Owl FS84500.
It is only a good product. I have two issues with this camera. For one thing, at night without a flood light, I can't see much detail of what is going on. The flood light helps. This suggests that I would need more IR lights. For another thing, during the day if I zoom in on something the resolution is very poor. I can't make out a face. This suggests that I need more than 420 TVL to see people's faces. I use this to watch my back yard where several cars are parked. Sometimes an intruder has smashed windows and vandalized the cars. So if I got another camera, I would opt for higher resolution and more IR lights in case the flood lights burned out.
I uploaded a video of what my back yard looks like without lights but with the infra red lights. The resolution is what is to be expected with 420 TVL but flood lights are needed to see more clearly. 30 IR lights are not enough to light my backyard. I did not bother with the audio.
