4GB 1280 x 720 Fashion Black HD Glasses with Hidden camera

I had purchased these glasses with the hope of shooting some POV action on sports. The listing advertises "Recording speed:Max 30fps." What I found in my tests were variable speeds between 17.95fps and 20.57fps (snow in sunlight, see attached video), which makes the footage appear jumpy in even a 24fps project. Call it what it is... it's a style, it's an inexpensive camera, it's a look.

More info on the attached video.... shot on a slightly overcast day after a snow storm. The snow looks dark because the camera is creating an "average" exposure, causing the white snow to be exposed for 18% gray. Clip is recorded at 20.57fps (by camera choice, no operator options on that). Date is embedded into file and I have not found a way to turn it off (or set it using a Mac computer). Audio is unusable with wind, but voices inside are OK. One button operation which is sometimes difficult to figure if you are recording or not.

Post: Using FCP7, the footage came in at 1280x720 x 21fps and was put into a Apple ProRes sequence at 23.98fps. Exported using Compressor to a H.264 file at 1280x720. No color or audio correction.

I'm keeping the product because the footage does have a particular visual style that I may be able to use on a different project later down the line.

Unless the glasses are quite big, its video quality are fine for the job. I use it as a customer service support and was pretty good on my project. It lacks on operation because there is no way to check it's working or not. You have to be sure in follow all steps in manual. I recomend restar before use this cam glasses.
