Hunters Specialties I-Kam Xtreme Video Eyewear, Flat Black

For starters they were not I KAM at all but an inferior imitation. They had been used (images already on the card from the previous owner). The instructions were almost indecipherable. They did not work about 3/4 of the time. Sometimes would not turn on. Sometimes would not turn off. Worthless at half the price.

If I order by name I expect to get what I order, not a cheap knock off.

I have returned and await a refund.

I ordered Hunters Specialties I-KAM Xtreme Sport Video Sunglasses Flat Black from DB Roth for about $50 + shipping.

What I received, instead, were "Eagle-I video sunglasses" which are an earlier obsolete model with significantly worse (cheaper) specifications from a completely different manufacturer. On top of that, the "new" unit I received from DB Roth appeared to be defective, and would not record video clips. Additionally, it did not come with an AC charger or clear lenses as advertised. The product manual included with the Eagle-I glasses clearly indicates this device was not the "Hunters Specialties I-KAM Xtreme Sport Video Sunglasses" I thought I was buying. I contacted DB Roth about this and they promptly sent a prepaid return label and say they will refund all charges when the item is returned. I have subsequently ordered the HS I-KAM Xtremes from a different provider, cost= $85 + shipping.

The Eagle eye glasses are very low quality. I sent mine back and ordered the a real pair of I-kam extreme 3.0 Cost me $35.00 more but well worth it.

I bought these with the expectation that the video quality would be terrible at more then 5 feet but it's pretty much the same as my iphone 4S which is great for what it is. These are so much fun to play with and the one touch on/off make it so easy to capture things that happen fast. Granted these arent like a camera crew following you around which seems like what other reviewers were expecting, but if you want to walk around without your phone taped to your face then these are perfect. I'm thinking of changing the lenses out to the clear ones that were included and wearing these things at Christmas.
