While this would be an excellent little music and picture player for an adult on a budget, the reason I've bought several is to give my kids a cheap and easy way to take pictures and videos. My first-grader loves hers, and my fourth-grader who was asking for a phone says this is way better than a phone.

Thanks to its ability to play while connected to its USB charger, I also use one of these to play whole-house music 24x7 via an FM transmitter. (The FM radio on the unit itself works well, but refuses to play at all unless the earphone is plugged in to act as an antenna.)

My only real complaints:

* Pictures and videos are pretty dim with purely indoor lighting -i.e. no daylight coming from any windows.

* It's easy to drag and drop JPEGs and music files onto the device, but its range of supported video formats is narrow and the conversion software is problematic.

This amount of functionality and storage at this price and in this footprint is amazing.

This is the worse MP3 player I have owned. It no longer works. It turns on and just is frozen on the loading screen. I always had a problem with its interface, it only lets you select a song at a time in alphabetical order in a List. It also Doesn't remember your last played song to pick up were you left off. Also you could only use one feature at a time, No Multitasking. Before this player did die it would always shut off at the slightest tap or movement in your pocket. Save your Money, Do Not Buy !

i made the mistake of buying this crappy cheap mp3 player its has alot of issues it always go to a white screen and lately when i plug it into my pc it keeps turning on and off i wouldn't recommend anyone buy this thing and the cam is not 5mp

it was performing real good. icould carry my movies and watch em on any tv. then one day simply stopped working. i didnt use it on a daily basis i simply used it about every 2 or 3 weeks when i was going out of town.

anyways is frozen (?) at the sly electronics screen and nothing happens.

also there is not much information about how to reset it.

it was a good mp4 player while it lasted.

but if you get upset really easy i think you should avoid it
