It was a pleasure to install my BX1500 dashcam with this power cord. It is fairly heavy duty without the bulk. It literally took me 5 minutes to run this across the top of the windshield under the trim, down the driver's side windshield trim and into the fuse block area. Just had to buy an ATM minifuse adapter Amazon sells them, but it was easier to buy one at a local Auto Zone store (In fact, it was actually less expensive, even with tax) Simply used the adapter to piggy back onto the Radio Fuse in the fuse block, so the dash cam is only supplied power when the car ignition is on.
