I GOT THIS BECOUSE i AM BLIND AND NEEDED SOMTHING FOR APPT.I WISH i HAD SENT IT RIGHT BACK IT DOES NOT UNDERSTAND YOUR VOICE AT ALL AND SO YOU HAVE TO SAY THINGS 10 YES 10 TIMES OR MORE .
THE OTHER BAD THING IS WHEN YOU DO GET IT PROGAMED TO GO OFF YOU CAN NOT SHUT THE THIG UP. IT WAS GOING OFF AT THE WRONG TIME IN MY DOC'S OFFICE SAYING THING i NOT WANT PEOPLE TO HEAR AND i COULD DO NOTHING ABOUT IT .You either totally LOVE "TapMemo" or hate it.
Part of the downside to this unit is the fact that it can NOT be software upgraded. Which means when you buy it.. that's it. You own it. (That is where their product lost a star)
The voice part of the unit will take a while to learn. Once your handicapped person gets past all that.... Tapmemo becomes a very powerful tool!
Unfortunately.. The person we bought this for has cerebral palsy and is illiterate. He continued to YELL into the mic.. He was unable to grasp nearly all of the functions of Tapmemo. Yet he was able to turn it off.

The tap memo is a wonderful device. I love it because of the calendar reminders. When a reminder goes off it says appointment reminder and then plays your recorded message. I wish their was one way to use the device with the 3 buttens. That would make the device a bit easyer to use. I also love the wakeup call. The tap memo plays a friendly chime and then a very nice lady comes on and says 6:30 AM for example. It is a very useful device. I think you should by this organizer.Read Best Reviews of TapMemo Voice Activated Personal Data Assistant Here
