Toshiba DVR620 DVD Recorder/VCR Combo

Got a little nervous when I saw that it came without an external tuner; nevertheless, I was able to hook up the unit to my digital FiOS box and set it up for recording and other purposes. I was very happy to find this product for a reasonable price. Toshiba is an awesome brand.

I own a Toshiba 600KU back in 2007 , since then i recored over 1000 movies an tv shows , but up to now its been a fine piece of electronics , though some an wear an tear took a toll on her an i cant record any more so im looking for a replacement . this Toshiba item looks great , an its about the same features as my old one . This why im conciding buying this unit from Amazon . though tunner-less is fine with me , i hook it up to the cable box . I can also say all my movies i taped in LP speed , but a few in SP . and all the features i recorded still look the same as the one i taped resently . Toshiba is the way to go

Won't play my old DVD discs I recorded from another unit. Really not a issue for what I use this machine for.

Haven't hooked up yet but purchase was easy and delivery was exceptionally fast. There are few similar items available and I'm happy to have this. I plan to transfer family video tapes to dvds.
