I am new to the gym and got tired of reading the TV screens. I purchased two of these and even though they are bigger than I would have preferred, don't come with the chain pictured and you must use the ear buds provided they work just fine. Just got this little player and find it's so easy to use. I got it, took it out of the wrapper and load on the music; I then put in a penlite battery and started using right away without reading the manual. I had no itch at all. It's as if I knew how to use it all along. The sound on the MP3 is very clear. Thanks very much as I find it very boring to read manuals these days.
