We were trying to connect our sound bar to the new tv, and it just wasn't happening. Learned we needed this cable, ordered it, hooked it up (it was a snap literally), and VOILA!

Unlike the more expensive, 3-foot optical audio cables I returned to my local Fry's Electronics Store in southern CA, these 6-foot optical audio cables fit my equipments' optical receptacles solidly and remain connected with no sense of looseness. The finger-shank mounted at each end swivels and helps proper seating of the cable in both devices. The outer shield of the cable is attractive and substantial. The protective cover-sheaths at each end are attached to the cable and can't be misplaced. The price is right and the quality is outstanding. Audio performance is superior. If Free Super Saver Shipping were available, I would have purchased several more of these cables. As it is, the shipping cost exceeds the cost of the cable. Still, I am pleased with my purchase.

This cable is actually better than I needed. It has a durable cover to keep it from crimping or getting damaged and sounds great compared to composite sound.

like the title says this is Pretty Solid and strong so it will last you, and the sounds that i receive from it are good, well GREAT actually. this is the first Optical cable/Tosslink that i am using so i cannot say much about it compared to others, but i will say that my audio does sound A GREAT DEAL/HECK OF A LOT better than when hooked up to my sound system direct.

What is there really to say, this product works, now I have not tested the durability of this product because I don't want to accidentally break the glass inside it. One other point, the metal around the tips are too big to fit in the New xbox 360 slim. You can barely get the very tip inside where it needs to go, you could mod your xbox and make the hole a little bit bigger without really damaging the xbox. But I wouldn't.
