Picked up this unit for a lady friend. Its small & easy to load with music in WMA, MP3, or WAV format, and also includes an FM radio with 20 presets, a voice recorder function, and it can also serve as a thumb drive. You can drag & drop you music onto the device, or you can use Windows Media Player/iTunes to import your songs. The white, backlit, OLED display is crisp and easy to read. Battery life is estimated at 12 hours, and it recharges from any USB port. The package includes headphones, a belt clip, lanyard, and instruction guide. Controls are straight-forward and easy to operate. My only complaint with the unit is I never could get it to load a playlist, even following Transcend's instructions. Most mp3 players automatically import the playlist to the device during a sync. This required some convoluted method of saving the playlist to the device with a specific file name, then importing it into one of the 10 available generically named playlists. Unfortunately it doesn't work. If you are cool with "shuffle all" it is great.
