Great recorder. Wonderful sound & easy to use (even for a senior non-tecky). I just ordered another one. Better than I expected. The CD player in my home stereo & car have been acting up and I was thinking of buying new ones, but both unit have aux plug ins and this MiCorder lets me download songs from internet radio, or my Mac, or from almost anything, for free, then play them on my home or car stereo. It's like Sirus, without the subscription. Now I don't need to tote around all my favorite CD's in my car.
This is such an amazing device I am in the market to buy a backup for the day it doesn't work anymore or one of my kids borrow it and step on it. It is so easy to use and to imagine that anything that has an auxiliary cable you can record from.

The MiCorder is perfect for the kind of simple recording via a live guitar looping pedal that I do, and it is clear that it can be used for more serious applications (use in conjunction with GarageBand, Frooty Loops, etc to make a polished full-length track) as well. I loved how it automatically uploaded directly to iTunes when I plugged the memory card into my macbook. I love the efficiency (in energy and purpose), functionality, and simplicity of the design. The ease-of-use is second to none!

Have a lot tapes and music to convert to mp3 format tp put on Walkman. Not had much success in recording loud enough to get good sound. This product did a great job with that and directly into mp3. Only had to trim songs and edit tag info. That was time consuming, but easy now. Now I can really enjoy all the great music again without spending a fortune on cds, basically replacing what I already have.

The sound is not very good, and the battery does not last no 10 hours at all.....not very hapy with this.
