Well, I got it for cheap, and I didnt expect much, and thats what I got. Amazon listings show this as an optical zoom, but it is a DIGITAL ZOOM (which is worse, I never use it). The picture is fuzzy, not very sharp, Most webcams these day have a better video quality, but for a camera that you can throw around, for $20, that you dont need to worry about, its ok.

I love this little camera. It's just the right size for your pocket for those photos you don't want to miss. Batteries last a long time actually longer than I would expect and I use this camera almost everyday on the job taking plumbing photos and it's not failed me a single time. Downloading photos couldn't be easier. I am very pleased.

You can't download your videos or photos to Mac. It's only PC compatible, I wish they had made it known.

I was hoping it was like my beloved Flip recorder that is no longer available. waste of money for me since I only have Macbook.

YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE 3AAA BATTERYS AND A MEMORY CARD FOR THE DV 1100 TO WORK. AND THEN, IF U NEED ASSISTANCE, SYLVANIA WILL REDIRECT YOU TO COMPANY ON PRODUCT. THE COMPANY HAS A VOICE MAIL AND EMAIL WHICH HAS BEEN WORTHLESS SO FAR :(.
