The day vision is pretty good but when night vision kicks on forget about it! At night the picture is whitewashed and foggy. You can see a little but not enough for piece of mind. Maybe I got a lemon I don't know. The best low budget camera that works the best for me is the Videosecu 1WX (VD21). This camera has great night vision and the image is clear.
