It is Good for the price that I paid. I had just 1 cassette that I wanted to transfer to an MP3 file. It connects with Audacity to record the Audio file in your computer.

It is a cheap little thing (you get what you pay for) but it has done what I required it to do. I can see where people would have some problems with the door popping open but it just needs to be handled gently. The only thing I would change is more detailed instructions on the software. I had to re-record about 10 tapes because none of them were saved.. Otherwise it is a useful device.

I have 12 old tapes that I wanted to copy to my computer and I didn't want to spend a lot to do it. So I took a chance on this little device. It worked just fine. The software that came with it is not so good but the Sony Sound Forge software that I got with my USB Turntable worked with this device also so no problem getting my tapes recored. I can't say how long it might last but if you only have a few tapes you want to copy this will do the job.
