At first I was skeptical but it took only 4 hours to charge the battery and we were able to start to use Vivitar DVR 550. This was charged not using the wall outlet but the lighter extension. So my husband who owns this device was excited and he used it to record his talk on 02/06/11 and I used it first to take pictures for a merchandising assignment. Thank you.
