I have been using these Baluns for several weeks to connect to a 12v high resolution color underwater video camera through a 500' cat5e cable. Image is perfect and voltage drop isn't too bad(about 1/2v every 100 feet). Great buy at this price. (Make sure your source voltage is high enough to counter the voltage drop or you won't be able to power your camera)

I purchased video baluns that look like these from another company at a much higher price ($35.00). I thought I try these at half the cost an after they arrived I found them to be in a different package and both were made in China, identical right down to the stickers. I have used these for at least 5 months now and the quality of video is great.

Why pay more for the same product, I highly recommend these.

It is nice to know I can just pull Cat5 wires and have audio, video, and power ready.

These things worked perfectly, it is the only way I'll ever set up CCTV again for the rest of my life. I ran one stretch of wire almost 300 feet through conduit to my gate at the beginning of my driveway to catch license plates.

Checking the video coming in through this and coming in over the standard 60' cables with just Audio/power there seems to be less noise and interference going over Cat5. foolish to not use these!!!

The only downside is the size of the unit with the BNC connection fastened to it. not a big deal.
