HONEYWELL 6160 DELUXE 32-CHARACTER ALPHA KEYPAD

If you're a do it yourself person then this is an easy panel to install. I have a 6150 as well but you cant program the alarm system with it so I picked up the 6160 and installed it in our bedroom. Being an alpha display also help locate faults becasue the zones are listed in words.

Works as it should for an alarm system. It is a little difficult to program though. For that I give it 4 stars

This panel works great with my Vista 20 alarm system. The old panel beeped and this one "bing"s, so it's a bit different, but I'll get used to it.

The female voice that describes the various devices that have been tripped is awful...essentially unintelligible if there's the least bit of ambient sound in the room. The quality of the audio is extremely poorkind of like a cheap shortwave radio.

This aspect of the keypad is worthless.
