Inland Headset 6000 with Bass Boost adjustable headband includes in-line volume control

The headset itself is nice. Audio Quality is decent for the price point. The problem is their darned strain reliefs. They chewed up the cable such that 2 months after purchase the bass boost was shorting out and causing the USB plug to overheat. Then 3 months after purchase, the microphone started shorting, and now, 4 months after purchase, the left speaker is shorting out. There's better ear pieces for the same price-point out there and they're not going to start shorting out on you 3-or-so months after purchase.

This is the 4th Inland Bass 6000 Headset that I am buying, but not because I had issues with it, on the contrary. I had to buy another for my son since he took a liking to the "bass effects" for his music, games and movies. I also use it for music, games and movies since it does not disturb anyone when you have to play it loud.

The problems with my 1st and 3rd was my computer rear USB ports are used up and I have to use the front USB ports. The computer is on the floor so whenever someone passes by, they accidentally kick the cable with the bass boost connection. The result is a broken USB connector.

I have upgraded my computer system which has more USB ports and finally learned my lesson.

Inland Bass 6000 PROS:

1. Flexible headset for easy fit;

2. Flexible microphone that flexes in almost any direction;

3. Nice soft leather finish that gives it the expensive feel;

4. Is better than a Creative 'Fatal1ty' gaming headset that I bought after the 1st USB broke;

5. Great audio (treble and bass) for the above-mentioned entertainment;

5. The headset actually vibrates on your ears, so I keep one off my ear;

6. If this becomes an issue, you can switch from "bass boost" to stereo.

CONS:

1. If its a warm day, your ears will sweat a lot;

2. The extra long cable for the audio gets in the way, but can be managed by using cable managers.
