It appears to be working great! Phenomenal clarity and amplitude. Provided with even the slowest DSL speed, the communication quality is impeccable across the board. The only downside to this devices service, are the taxes assesed by good old Uncle Sam. These fees are minimal and shouldnt break your bank. :-) At or around $60 per year or under $5 per month. Lets face it, we wouldn't be the worlds most superior super power, if it were not for taxes.

I bought this Ooma Telo about 6 months ago it worked for about 5 months, but the last month has been terrible increasingly bad call quality, calls not ringing through to my phone and going straight to online voicemail, etc. I tried and tried through their customer service to get it fixed or get a replacement device but finally had to give up. It was a big waste of money.

This system works with your internet connection. If you internet connection fails then the telephone system fails and must be reset,(not always quick and simple). It drops calls after a several minutes. Best feature is the voice mail and call forwarding to my cell, (upgraded service 9.99 per month) This beats the high phone bill I was paying for.

I activated an OOMA device back when it was promised to be free for life. They deactivated my account without notice and now charging me a monthly fee to reactivate the same device. Contract is a contract and must be honored. It is a scam, beware.
